Bienvenue again to the Petit World series which features faces, places, architecture and other cultural aspects of life from across the globe. Can you guess the city and country of this City Center? I had the fortune of visiting this city as recently as last week.
Hint: The city is situated on one of the most beautiful harbors in the world. The city center is dominated by a tower and is packed with historic and modern shopping arcades.
If you recognize this city, please leave a comment below and let me know if you have visited it before.
Toronto?
Hi Sukanya, thanks for your guess! The picture is of Sydney.
LOL That’s a long way away from where I guessed- but that’s good to know!
Hi Sukanya, yes, a long way but you weren’t the only one to guess Toronto. I’ve haven’t been to Toronto yet, but several people who have visited also thought my picture was of Toronto! So I guess the two city skylines are very similar! That’s interesting.
Reminds me of Sydney – I’ve been there a few handful of times 🙂 Hope you enjoyed your time!
Hi Tina, Sydney indeed! Lovely place.
It’s Sydney! I’ve never been but always wanted to go. How fun that you just visited there!
Hi Pamela, thanks for commenting. You’re correct, it’s Sydney! Such a lovely city! I’ll try to share more photos soon!
It’s Sydney! I’ve never been but have always wanted to go. How fun that you just had the opportunity to visit!
I hope you’re able to visit one day. It’s such a nice city!
We were in Sydney in Oct 2012. Modern, beautiful, clean and lively city. Had fine food too! 😀
So true! It’s such a great city! Time was short on this trip so we could only visit Sydney but I’m so looking forward to going back to Australia to visit its other beautiful cities.
Damn! I was so close! I thought it was Adelaide 😉
Very close indeed! 🙂 Have you been to Adelaide?
I haven’t! But I recently read about it in a bunch of online articles, toting it as one of the best cities to live, in the world!
Thanks, I’ll put it on my list of places to visit! Hopefully I’ll be able to come this way again.
