O world, I cannot hold thee close enough! Thy winds, thy wide grey skies! Thy mists that roll and rise!
— From God’s World by Edna St. Vincent Millay
Fall in New York City is nothing short of lovely. One of the many fascinating aspects of the weather this time of year is how the temperature can climb from the chilly 50s up to the warm and sunny 70s—all in one day. When I recently found out I was to attend meetings in the City, I was quite pleased. My husband and I love the opportunity to visit New York and be a small part of its heartbeat while there.
We were lucky to have warm weather during the day which made for nice long walks throughout the city and in Central Park.
One belongs to New York instantly, one belongs to it as much in five minutes as in five years. –– Tom Wolfe
When I’m in New York, I just want to walk down the street and feel this thing, like I’m in a movie. — Ryan Adams
